Acer announces the 11.6 inch Iconia W700 & 10.1 inch W510 Windows 8 tablets

Acer W700 & W510 Windows 8 tablets There has been some buzz going around the Computex 2012 at Taipei, Taiwan. Acer has announced two Windows 8 tablets namely the W700 which is a 11.6 inch tab and W510 which is a 10.1 inch tablet. The W700 is a full HD device 1920×1080 multi touch display which can support up to 10 finger touches at a time . 8 hours of battery life, Dolby Home Theater audio and three USB 3.0 ports. Optionally you can get a cradle and a keyboard to get the desktop experience. You will have to shell out around $999 to get your hands onto this device when it launches.

The W510 on the other hand is a 10.1 inch device with IPS display and comes with detachable keyboard. Specs, price & other details for this device is not out yet. We will update as soon as get get to know something.
